Baking/ food/ Good stuff

Here I will be posting some awesome recipes from other sources with my photographic attempt to make it included and likely some of my own food/baking I have learned through my family roots. I'm by no means a top notch chef BUT I like to try new things. I'm inspired by others so if anyone See's something on here that's related to something they made or was their recipe just know that I appreciate it and want to pass the awesomeness on! Don't be shy now go ahead and add right with me! I love new things especially a good eat!

Chocolate chip cookie dough filled cupcakes.... sounds dazzling right?... Well it is! They are unbelievably tasty. I borrowed the recipe from  http://www.kevinandamanda.com/ and all I can say is thank you for passing it on!  It is made from scratch and is vital to pay attention to the directions for making these sinful little bites of joy. Here I will post some of the pictures I took while I was preparing to bring these cupcakes of joy and happiness into this world to be eaten!

Tonight I made a Meatloaf in which the recipe I obtained over three years ago was from food network and probably is there till this very day. If not you probably can search it.  "meatloaf by Paula Deen" and it is delicious! Anyways back to this delicious dinner. I added mashed potatoes lightly seasoned with garlic and a dash of Johnny's seasoning salt. Veggies are important so I made some green beans to go with the deal. I will try and post the exact recipe here by a link BUT if your like me I tend  to "eyeball" the measurements and go from there. Usually after you have been making something like this for so long you kind of just go about it on your own. So here will be a list of the things that I use  and approximately how much. So in terms this is my version of it but in a guesstimate.

1) One or one and a half pounds of ground beef or ground sirloin OR ground turkey if you like less fat.
(add more meat if you are cooking for a larger crowd)

2) A can of ANY diced tomatoes. Just depends on what you like

3) A package of Ritz or Saltine crackers

4) About a half cup of Quaker oats maybe a bit less. OR if you do not like oats or their texture you can skip this step.

5) One or two eggs depending on how much meat you are using. Typical is only one egg.

6) An onion chopped into pieces

7) Green Bell pepper chopped or diced.

8) A half cup to a cup of breadcrumbs

9) Seasonings of  your choice

******For the topping that goes over the meatloaf******

1) A half cup to a cup of Catchup

2) About  1/4 cup of mustard

3) About 1/4 cup of brown sugar

******Directions******

Pre-heat the over to 375 degrees.

Combine your meat, egg(s), onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, oats, CRUSHED crackers and can of diced tomatoes.

(NOTE) Do drain ONLY about half of the tomato juice from the can as the remainder will go into the bowl of ingredients.

Once you have all the ingredients in the bowl; mix the ingredients together with your hands blending it all together well.

Once it is mixed ; Place meatloaf into baking pan such as a glass cake pan. Shape into loaf.

In another small bowl take the ingredients for the topping and mix them together. Once this is mixed pour over meatloaf covering entire top, sides, front and back.

Place in the oven after pre heat is complete and bake for one hour.

Enjoy!

This may slightly OR a lot differ from the actual recipe since I remember doing this for the last three years on my own without going by the recipe but in either way it is delish! I hope you enjoy. Post comments or ratings about this here! Thanks!
